SHYCOCAN uses what we call the AAA method to neutralize viruses: attack, attract and attenuate. Attack: Using a patented process, based on years of research called photon-mediated electron emission, SHYCOCAN emits a constant barrage of photon waves when its metal alloy is energized. These photon waves strike hard surfaces and dust particles in the air, producing a cloud of photon-mediated, negatively charged electrons. Attract: The positively charged spike protein of the coronavirus seeks out negative charges. This means they are attracted toward these photoelectrons released by SHYCOCAN. Attenuate: When a coronavirus binds with a photoelectron, it becomes attenuated, or neutralized, and cannot be separated from these electrons. Once attenuated, the virus loses its ability to attach to a host cell of any living organism and spread infection.

Photon waves travel at the speed of light, so once you turn on SHYCOCAN, its effect is virtually instantaneous. However, for maximum coverage around objects (and people) in a room, we recommend letting SHYCOCAN run for 10 minutes before its protection is needed.

Installing SHYCOCAN is simple: you can either mount it in the corner of a room for maximum coverage—ideally at a height of 7–8 feet—or for easy mobility, skip the mounting and place it on a raised shelf or counter. Then, just plug it in to any standard wall outlet and flip the switch to keep your guests protected.

Very little! There are no expensive filters or light bulbs to replace. All that’s required is periodically cleaning the front and rear of dust and other particulate to ensure that your SHYCOCAN remains in peak operating condition. Under ideal circumstances, each SHYCOCAN unit should last you at least 10 years.

SHYCOCAN only consumes as much power as a 40-watt lightbulb. Feel free to run it 24/7, but we also recommend turning it off when the enclosed space is not in use.

While SHYCOCAN does not require an uninterrupted power supply, we recommend using one to ensure continuous operation, as the device does not have a battery backup built into it.

SHYCOCAN does not replace practices such as physical distancing, wearing masks and gloves, getting vaccinated and washing hands. Instead, SHYCOCAN is intended to supplement these measures to ensure maximum viral protection. Please continue to follow all local health guidelines.

As with any other electronic device, keep SHYCOCAN away from water and sprinklers. You should also ensure that you are using the correct voltage for the device (120 V, the standard voltage of electrical outlets in North America). We also do not recommend mounting SHYCOCAN on a wall in regions prone to seismic activity. If your area is prone to earthquakes, SHYCOCAN should be secured to a tabletop or pedestal instead of the mounting bracket.

Like the fan in a desktop computer, SHYCOCAN does produce a faint background hum while operating.

SHYCOCAN's intended use is for photoelectrons to be freely distributed around the room, meaning it can reach most areas mentioned above. Please note that photoelectrons are not expected to pass through solid objects such as walls, glass or partitions.

We guarantee remedies for product defects for one year from the date of sale. During that time, we will repair or replace the product if such defects are present.
